Notes
An all-original late first type issue from 1953-54, since it has its rear axle located in cast lugs, and no triangular lugs at side of the number plate. This truck has a bright and distinctive French blue cab and chassis,(more usual finish is darker blue) red back, lighter blue Supertoy hubs.
Large painted hook. Very few marks only; the cab roof has a few tiny marks and a small touch-in to the paint finish. None of the usual chipping at wheel arches and cab roof edges. Bright silver radiator and lights. A little minor wear to edges of the red back. Complete with spare wheel.
The striped Supertoys box is complete and sound.
No splits. Just the usual wear at corners. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this example from 1954.
A fine example of a sought-after Dinky commercial truck.
