Notes
It is such a delight to come upon these very early Dinky Delivery Vans and this one is in all original condition with superb gold lettering on both sides. All sound and intact with no parts broken or missing. These early vans made of lead composition do not suffer from the fatigue often found in the later second and third type vans.
This commercial Dinky was made for such a short time – between 1934-35 – so it is especially sought in this condition. All original throughout with a vibrant red and black pigment, complemented by close to complete glistening gold lettering on both sides and pale pink-washed wheels.
Moderate chipping, commensurate with age. Bright radiator surround, intact axles.
_A delight to own – these early advertising vans are in extremely short supply! _
