Dinky 254
Dinky 254 Austin Taxi. Very near mint/boxed. Green & yellow issue. Nice box! From The Nelson Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1956-59, this model has a very fresh and vibrant deep green and yellow finish with yellow wheels, detailed black interior, complete with taxi driver. Matt black base.
Just a couple of minor marks to the paint finish. Happily free of the near-obligatory chip on the top of the roof sign, this is a wonderful display piece with a fine lustre to the all original paint finish.
The card pictorial box looks like old shop stock. Period pricing on an end flap.
