Dinky 156
Dinky 156 Rover 75 Saloon. Two-tone green version. Large print baseplate. Very, very near mint/boxed. Superb quality from The Brighton Collection.
Notes
This classic Dinky Rover Saloon was made between 1956-59 in this two-tone green finish.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the baseplate:
Wonderful lustre to the original paint finish throughout. One of the best examples we have seen. Minute examination reveals a couple of negligible rubs to the side raised body lines (being extra fussy here – very tempted to call this model mint).
The pictorial box is bright and complete. Correct spot at the end flaps. Minor grubbiness at one end flap and some pencilled numbering. Light wear.
