Notes

This sought-after, early issue Gift Set (1962-66) is in close to mint condition, comprising:

1) Corgi 426 Booking Office. Version in scarlet with shaped spun wheels, suspension.
With complete paper labels (save for a small portion head-on) and transfers. An attractive Smith’s Karrier Bantam Van.

2) Corgi 438 Land-Rover
in very near mint condition with vibrant blue plastic tilt, spare wheel on the bonnet and clean paper labels on both canopy sides.

3) Corgi 1121 Crane Truck
in vivid red and yellow finish with notably unrubbed, light blue lettering and matching wheels. Very near mint condition. Bright metal parts.

4) 2 x 1123 Animal Cages
with intact amber plastic roof detail and plastic sliding doors. Shaped spun wheels. Vivid red and yellow finish. Very near mint.
No transfers.
Both sets of original animals (i.e. bears and lions) are included.

5) Corgi 606 Elephant & Cage on Trailer. Pale grey early version including hook with bars.
Very near mint with a vibrant paper label. Trailer shows minimal wear.
Pale grey elephant has light age mottling and note that the tail has become brittle over the years and has become detached now ( present but in 2 pieces).

Complete and bright white polystyrene inner.

White card packing piece which fits over the top of the contents.

Colourful pictorial box is complete and clean with a full colour, vivid Chipperfields Circus scene depicted.

No tears or repairs. A few small surface scuffs and a little rusty mark from storage. Light wear besides.
