Missing from most collections, this scarce Dutch promotional model was made for a short time between 1965-67. Never for sale to the general public. Corgi 1110 is finished in a distinctive shade of mid-blue and white with fine and complete original transfers on both sides. The rear transfer has the merest background edge nick.
Shiny shaped spun wheels and fine original tyres. Baseplate is shiny.
Barely a mark to be seen on this model which does present very well. Minute and careful scrutiny reveals a little retouching, principally to the vulnerable wheel arches where the tank swivels.
This distinctive flip-top lid presentation box is one of the best we have seen – so clean, fresh and bright! Just the occasional light crease/rub.
Notably all 3 packing card pieces are present.
