Corgi 301
Corgi 301 Triumph TR2 Sports Car. Very near mint /boxed. Cream version with scarlet seats, silver steering wheel & flat spun wheels. Scarce. From The Lewes Collection.
Notes
This exciting Corgi car was made between 1956-61, in two different colour finishes. The model has a lustrous cream paint finish, scarlet red seats, silver steering wheel, flat spun wheels, early baseplate (couple of discoloured areas, looks as-made)), and an intact original windscreen. Fine-tread original tyres are as-new. An impressive model from Corgi – especially considering that this car was made during the first year of production!
The paint finish is as nice as you could wish – hard to find the merest mark!
The early blue picture box is complete and strongly-coloured. Light wear and the start of a top surface puncture ( not quite!) to the top surface.
