Notes
One of the sought-after Batman Gift Sets, this version (copyright 1979) is presented in the colourful header-card window box.
The set comprises:
1) Batmobile – fixed gold tow hook version and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright and original gloss finish, fully functioning and complete with aerial, intact very pale blue screens. Bright bat labels. Suspension is fine on all four shiny wheels. Virtually mint condition! A little tarnishing to the edge of the cutter blade.
2) Batboat is the correct later version with plastic fin. Intact blue screens and bright chrome cockpit. Very bright paper labels including the bat labels on the fin. Gold trailer has Whizzwheels. Mint.
Full sprue of original yellow missiles.
Both items are housed in the original and intact polystyrene inner which is virtually pristine.
An outstanding , fresh outer box that has just been carefully prised open for the first time. Print ‘For ages 3 years & over’. Intact original cellophane.
Operating Instructions on this late issue were printed on the underside of the outer box.
