Dinky 290
Dinky 290 Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP'. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce version in RED & CREAM with SPUN WHEELS! A rare and sought-after model from The Nelson Collection.
Notes
Issued during 1963 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus with spun wheels is a difficult version to find. This example presents well with a lustrous original vibrant red and cream paint finish, treaded tyres. Complete sloping lettering on both sides ( a few dots on one letter on one side).
Presents very well indeed.
Occasional little mark to the paint.
The red and yellow box is vividly-coloured, complete with all end flaps. Crisp feel to the card. Clean. Correct colour spot for this version. Light wear and a couple of small stain spots.
More difficult to source in our experience than the green, spun wheel version.
