Notes
A rare find! Dinky 157 Jaguar models were issued for such a short time in the Trade Box. Later during 1954, individual boxes were introduced.
This rare Trade Box has the correct yellow dividers too.
Vivid yellow, sturdy Trade Box contains six Dinky 157 Jaguar XK120 models as follows:
3 x grey-green issues with fawn wheels. Near mint plus generally although note that one model has a mis-shapen original tyre and there is some minor wear to the other tyres on this example too.
1 x grey-green issue with shaped spun wheels. Rather late for this Trade Box – we surmise that it was added merely to make up the set. Treaded tyres. Few little marks only. Nice glossy finish.
2 x deep yellow issue with yellow cast wheels. Near mint plus with smooth original well-shaped tyres.
Sturdy Trade Box has period pencilled shopkeeper’s price on the lid . No tears or repairs to lid or base. Tarnishing to staples. Light wear besides. So rare to find with the original dividers!
