Corgi 1130
Corgi 1130 Circus Horse Transporter with Horses. Very near mint/boxed. With six grey horses & individual wrap-around card packing. Card packing piece sleeve. From The Eric Morris Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit has a vivid red finish, shaped spun wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Barely a mark to the paint finish. Note there is dulling to the finish on the silver roof cover detail and some age wear to the reflective strips on the wing mirrors. The model comes with the full complement of six grey horses, as well as the original card packing and bands* for each horse.
The card plinth is complete and bright, with both pull-out end tabs firmly in place and tear-free. Light wear/marking from the Transporter.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing sleeve – so often discarded.
The outer box is strongly coloured and complete. Light wear only.
