Corgi 218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin D.B.4. Scarce version in scarlet red, with SPOKED WHEEL DETAIL and OPEN BONNET VENT. Near mint plus/boxed. Crisp, bright box. From The David Frank Corgi Collection.
Notes
This model is a scarce version with a vibrant scarlet red finish, silver spoked wheel details, with suspension, vivid yellow interior. Open bonnet vent detail and open baseplate version with sections of the axles visible (later spun wheel versions typically do not have this detail).
In close to mint condition, with a few little marks to the paint finish.
The pictorial card box is complete, clean and very crisp indeed. Strong colours. Ver light wear and a storage crumple.
A very difficult version to find.
