The Monty Calme Collection continues to delight and surprise us as it gives up some of its most precious and rare pieces.
Very rare to come to the market place, this is one of a very small range of Gift Sets sold through the FAO Schwarz toy shops in the U.S.
A first for QDT, this exciting Schwarz ‘Daktari Wild Life’ Gift Set comprises:

*1) Corgi Gift Set 14 Daktari. Opened just once or twice ever, this Gift Set is in very near mint-very, very near mint condition, complete with all delicate accessories (that are so often lost like the doctor’s stethoscope or Clarence the Lion’s glasses). With packing card pieces for both the giraffes and the elephants. Paula is still banded to Clarence the Lion.
Very fresh polystyrene inner and the card to the outer box feels crisp. Light storage wear. and a small stain. Intact original cellophane.

2) Corgi Gift Set 8 Lions of Longleat. Another rarely opened Gift Set, complete with all accessories (meat is still taped together).Very near mint- very, very near mint. Fresh and clean polystyrene stand. Colourful card backdrop. Crisp and bright card and cellophane box shows minimal wear. Intact original cellophane.

Also included is the original card block within the large outer box:

Attractive powder blue lift-off lid card box is complete with unfaded colours and a paper label at a lid end (minor wear and old tape residue). Corers of the lid and some seams have careful glue repairs. Residue from old tape in places. Light surface marking besides. No graffiti.

The white box base has a glue repair to one corner.
An extremely rare find – and the first QDT have ever brought to the market-place.
