Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this fine French Dinky model has a sand beige tractor and trailer, matching metal wheels and a white roof rack. Four metal pins on the trailer are still in place. Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing. Early issue with pierced trailer detail (later issue was solid).
Few mere dots to the paint – if you search for them!
The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is bright, fresh, complete and intact, with barely any wear at all. Dinky Quality Control Stamp ‘Meccano Controle’ on the inside of the box lid. Very nice!
