Corgi 218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin DB4. Lemon, shaped spun wheels issue, with open bonnet vent. Near mint plus/boxed. A rare transition model from The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is an intriguing transition version of the Aston Martin. At first glance, it looks relatively unassuming, until you note the particular combination of colour finish, (later) shaped spun wheels, (early feature) open bonnet vent, and (transition) closed base with product number cast.
A few tiny marks and a little touch-in to the paint finish. Minor paint bubbling.
The box is complete with quite a crips feel. Light age/handling wear.
Rare to come to the market-place.
