Spot-on 110/2
Spot-on 110/2 AEC Mammoth Major 8 with Flat Float. Maroon & silver. With packing & Spot-on leaflet. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce. From A Phenomenal Collection. Starting bid £250. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Issued during 1960, this is a scarce and desirable Spot-on commercial truck in all original condition with a lustrous reddish-maroon finish, silver chassis.
Upon close examination, you will find a few tiny marks only. Cab is virtually mint.
Looks impressive on display.
Correct that this model is without a brick load. Note the printed over-label at one end which informs us that this is 110/2 not 110/2B, the latter would denote the Brick Load version (printed on the other end of the box).
The lift-off lid box is complete with internal packing card( minor crumpling/wear). With promotional leaflet.
Colours are bright. No graffiti. Some light scuffing and a couple of small areas of paper surface loss to the box lower. Traces of the old sellotape which kept the lid closed.
