Notes

A popular Corgi model from the Major Packs Emergency Vehicle range of toys. The Simon Snorkel fire engine was made between 1964-74, with a Bedford cab, 6 firemen, water cannon, extending and rotating boom. This model presents very nicely with bright untarnished supports for the boom and a vivid lustre to the original paint finish.
Deep gold booms. Note this example has the version with 12-spoke separate wheels and tyres. Earlier issue finely ridged operating wheels too.

Little probably as-made mark or two.

This card and cellophane picture box is a more difficult find certainly. Clean, strongly-coloured card with original cellophane window (small puncture). Minor wear.
Complete, fresh and bright card insert. Nice to see all three polystyrene packing pieces are still present (one at each end flap and one that fits beneath the card insert).
