Re-numbered from 40J in 1954, this Austin Somerset Saloon Dinky model has a pleasing pale blue finish with cream ridged wheels and a bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’).
Scarce variation.
Fine original silver detailing at radiator, bumpers and headlights.
The most minute scrutiny finds a couple of very small retouches.
The box is complete and crisp with very minor wear. Correct colour spot. Resistant end flaps show this box has been opened rarely.
