Notes
Issued between 1964-65, this Mini-Cooper ‘S’ Monte Carlo version is one of the range of exciting racing Minis produced by Corgi during this period. Extremely popular at the time, they are even more sought-after by collectors these days!
Original red and white finish on this racing model with a chrome spotlight on the roof (top edge rub). Bold print, complete racing number ‘37’ on both doors. ‘Monte Carlo’ bonnet transfer is notably complete and thankfully free of the near-obligatory centre line rub! Bright jewelled headlights, silver radiator and bumper. Rear transfer has a tiny nick.
A few little marks to the paint finish and note the addition of little labels on one side window. Residue from another label on the boot.
The complete and bright, scarce stamped box has a very crisp feel. Little storage crumple. Barely any wear otherwise. Original card packing ring.
