Dinky Toys 164 Vauxhall Cresta
Vauxhall Cresta Saloon by Dinky Toys, No. 164. Very near mint/boxed. Maroon & cream version. A rare find with GREY WHEELS! From The Borders Collection. Starting bid £250. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
A gleaming original finish on this classic Dinky car in maroon and cream – but with grey wheels. Normally reserved for the grey and green version, this is a particularly rare find. A factor oversight perhaps?
Baseplate is shiny (minor ‘spidering’). Smooth original tyres are well-shaped. Fine original silver detailing at the bonnet, and bumpers.
A few minor side raised body lines rubbing (caused by box contact) and that’s about it!
The box is complete and bright, with the correct colour spot. Some grubbiness/wear, but no tears. Crisp feel.
