Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A very close to mint example finished in a striking ‘saffron yellow’, with original silver details, original driver, and black steering wheel. One-piece tyres/wheels with silver details. `Blue plastic driver.
Complete racing numbers which are most-eye-catching in a shiny ‘chrome’ (foil) colour finish with bold ‘35’ numbering in black.
Very near mint condition. Please note that the racing numbers are truly reflective, although the images do not really show this.
Shiny black base has some ‘spidering’ with most of the base details obliterated.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete and bright. Largely free of the usual ‘white edges’ or heavy tears that plague these comparatively flimsy boxes. Small puncture has pressed back into place. Minor wear besides.
