An unusual Gift Set made between 1965-69 in original condition, comprising:
Dinky 135 Triumph 2000 in white and blue finish. Only issued in these colours for this Gift Set (normally this Dinky car is in metallic green). Very near mint condition with suspension on bright spun hubs, opening bonnet (detailed engine) and boot.
Off-white “Southdown Gliding Club” Trailer-Transporter with shiny spun wheels and an intact towing attachment. Fresh and complete paper labels. Clear plastic lid lifts off and inside are the components for the glider, set in the built-in racks. Yellow fuselage and red winged version. All components are fine and intact*.
The distinctive pictorial card plinth has light wear including a little tear to one wheel slot.
Slim colourful outer box has not fared so well with some age/handling wear and note that one large end flap return is missing (taped shut now).
