Corgi Toys 335 E Type Jaguar
4.2 Litre Jaguar 'E' Type 2 + 2. Very near mint/boxed. 1st issue in red. From The Francis Schaffer Collection.
Notes
Not an easy model to find – and this early example in vivid red is eagerly sought by collectors. This impressive car has a vibrant, all original lustrous finish, black interior, spoked wheels, opening doors, bonnet (revealing a detailed engine), and boot. Detailed interior has tip up seats and a rear sliding seat.
In very close to mint condition. A few light chrome rubs and tiny marks to the paint may be seen if you peer closely.
The colourful blister box is bright and clean with an intact bubble which is still firmly attached to the card. Unpunched header card too. Faintly pencilled period price. Wear mostly to the underside which has a little repaired tear and a few little creases. No winged pieces with this example.
