Corgi Toys 202 Morris Cowley
Morris Cowley Saloon by Corgi Toys, No. 202. Grey with CLEAR windows. Very near mint/boxed, with promotional booklet & PINK Corgi Club Membership Form. From The Eric Morris Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1956-61 in a variety of colour finishes. This example is finished in grey with untarnished, shining smooth hubs and well-shaped original black tyres with a fine tread. Shining silver trim.
Pleasing glossy finish. Clear window glazing.
Shiny base.
Two raised casting dots on one side. Few tiny factory assembly marks on one wheel.
Obviously rarely handled, this model has none of the expected marks to the front or rear bumpers and a day-one glossy finish.
The early blue picture box is complete with quite a crisp feel. A little, in the print, as-made ‘mottled’ appearance. Couple f light creases to an end flap.
Nice to see the promotional colour ‘concertina’ booklet and the more unusual pink Corgi Club Membership Form.
