Corgi Toys 1130 Circus Horse Transporter
Circus Horse Transporter with Horses by Corgi Toys, No. 1130. Very near mint/boxed. With spun wheels, six grey horses, CARD PLINTH & CARD PACKING SLEEVE. From The QDT Vault. Part of a one-owner from new collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit has a vivid red finish, shaped spun wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and an intense blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
A few little marks to the paint finish. Bright silver roof cover detail (little rub). Wing mirrors are complete with reflective strips. The model comes with six grey horses. Note the owner has added Corgi period accessory number-plates and a tax disc (these accessories were available from Corgi at the time in order to decorate your models).
Original has daubed his initial in red on the base (may be possible to remove).
The card plinth is complete, clean, fresh and bright. Very light wear. No wheel slot tears.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing sleeve – so often discarded.
The outer box is complete and brightly-coloured, showing light wear only. Crisp feel.
