Notes
This version was produced between 1954-59, before its re-numbering to FD575 in 1959. Sleek deep blue finish and painted convex wheels. Versions with first letter in blue-green at the sides, and SNCF within a deeper green ‘map’.
The distinctive lettering and deep green French map logo are virtually complete – complete on both sides. The original tyres are well-shaped, generally fine and supple. Just two tyres have a little very minor surface split.
You will find the occasioanl minor mark, light scratch.
Presented in the hard to find plain buff shopkeeper’s Trade Box complete with original dividers.
The box is complete and sturdy and looks as if has been handled only rarely.
Staples have some tarnishing/staining in places. Print is strong at the lid ends. One corner seam repair. French Dinky Quality Control stamp on the inside of the lid.
