Corgi Toys Prototype Lancia Gamma
Prototype of Corgi Lancia Gamma. Pictured on page 465 of The Great Book of Corgi. With Provenance. From a dedicated Corgi Collector in The Home Counties.
Notes
An exceptional collection of prototypes were purchased by ‘The New European’ Collector, largely originating from two well-documented sources i.e. the auction of the property of Marcel Van Cleemput at Sotheby’s Auction House in 1999 and the Losch Auction House in Germany during 2000.
We are pleased to see this rare prototype once more which may be found within the pages of this catalogue – note Kermit the Frog prototype (also sold by QDT!) – immediately in front of the Lancia Gamma.
From the property of Marcel Van Cleemput, and pictured in ‘The Great Book of Corgi’ on page 465, this Lancia model is finished in gold and black with deep red interior, and window glazing. Free-running wheels.
Measures approx. 12.5 cms. Couple of little marks and a few fine light scratches on the windscreen.
