This version is much more difficult to find than the standard tan and green. It has a cool brown (not ‘warm’ chocolate brown) cab and chassis, mid-green back, red cast wheels, white lettering. In close to mint, all original condition, complete with a working tow hook. Bright winding handle, including the metal cuff. Bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’). Original smooth balloon tyres are well-shaped.
Occasional minor mark including a few very light ‘bloomed’ spots.
Complete ‘DINKY SERVICE’ white lettering on both sides.
The sturdy orange card box with paper label is bright and clean. Factory Stamp ‘G’ on one side of the base. A little surface separation to the paper label on one side. Rusty staples. Light wear.
