Notes
This early example is in close to mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).
A little exposed edge rubbing in places. Suspension is fine on the front wheels only.. The car ‘sits’ well. Vivid blue screens and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Generally bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bat hubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers work well.
Note that two of the wheels have gold surround to the bat logos, whilst the two nearside wheels are base metal (factory).
Card inner is bright and complete with vivid artwork.
Reverse:
Light age/handling wear but no tears.
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened and inside you will find a sprue of original yellow missiles, Badge, Operating Instructions and Features Slip.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid and complete. Minor age/handling wear and a small, subtle repair to an end flap seam.
A scarce Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
