Notes
This exciting Corgi car was made between 1956-61, in two different colour finishes. The model has a lustrous cream paint finish, scarlet red seats, bare metal steering wheel, flat spun wheels, early baseplate (couple of discoloured areas, looks as-made)), and an intact original windscreen. Fine-tread original tyres are as-new. An impressive model from Corgi – especially considering that this car was made during the first year of production!
The paint finish is as nice as you could wish – hard to find the merest mark! An exceptional example.
The early blue picture box is complete and strongly-coloured. Light wear and a small stain. With promotional booklet:
