Crescent Toys 1293 Vanwall Grand Prix Racing Car
Vanwall Grand Prix Racing Car. Very near mint/boxed. Rare issue from this respected British model maker. From The Simon Regis Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1958-60 and one of the much sought-after range of Sports and Racing cars, this example is in very near mint condition with a pleasing lustre to the all original finish.
The rarest of the Crescent Racing Cars!
Occasional little racing number nick, spoked wheels and fine as-new original tyres. One wheel is inclined to slip off the axle.
The highly-evocative pictorial box is a delight!
Brightly-coloured. Correct that this model has an over-sticker on the end flap – a model specific box for this rare issue was never made. Penned number on two faces and remains of old tape. Very small tear and minor wear.
Easy to see why these racing cars are eagerly sought by collectors!
