Corgi Toys 431 Volkswagen Pick-Up
Volkswagen Pick-Up by Corgi Toys, No. 431. Rarest variation in deep orange-yellow with olive green canopy. Late variation (probably export). Near mint plus/boxed. From The Gower Collection. QDT starting bid £500. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
An exceptionally scarce, late variation (probably export), this Commer Pick-Up is finished in deep orange-yellow with textured olive-green canopy (unique to this model – and could not have been swapped from another Corgi item. Longer than the canopy on the Corgi Land Rover, for example). Silver trim and shaped spun wheels.
Reference to this version made on page 155 of The Great Book of Corgi; version with red canopy pictured.
In close to mint condition with just a few little marks to the original glossy paint finish.
An exciting find.
The colourful and complete box has light wear only. Corgi Club Membership Form.
