Corgi Toys 252 Rover 2000
Rover 2000 by Corgi Toys, No. 252. Maroon, with CAST WHEELS. Very rare final version. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Gower Collection. An exceptional and rare model - and another First for QDT! Starting bid £500. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
Such a scarce version, this Rover has a rich metallic maroon finish, and this issue (unlike its Monte Carlo counterpart) has a cream interior – and no transfers of course! ’Trans-o-lite headlights. This is the rare final version with cast wheels and the first we have ever offered for sale.
In virtually mint condition. Surely the best surviving example.
The plain blue yellow box has the informative print stamped on both large end flaps. Colours are strong and this box feels crips and rarely handled. Tiny wear only.
An exciting find.
