This is a fine glowing example of Dinky Toys 418 Leyland Comet Wagon with a superb sheen to the all original two-tone blue finish. Rich violet blue cab and chassis with a vivid mid-blue back. Cream Supertoy wheels and well-shaped grey tyres (looking as-new).

Barely a mark to the lustrous finish. Tiny area of blistering at a rear edge.

Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model 1956, the first year that 418 was used.
The bright yellow lift-off lid box is so fresh and clean, showing minimal handling! Small surface scuff on one side caused during storage. With card packing piece.

although there is some rusting at the staples.
