A delightful and so scarce Penguin (Tri-ang) Series 4 model in rich deep green plastic. Issued during 1949 in this colour. A uniquely fascinating scale model with rubber (band) drive, using the starter handle in conjunction with the rear wheels in order to propel the car along.
Simple construction with a shiny metal base and one piece black plastic wheels/tyres. Measures approx. 13.5 cms excluding the winding handle.
Very near mint condition.
Distinctive and appealing all card box is crisp, clean and very fresh-looking. A scarce item.
