Corgi Toys 1129 Bedford 'S' Articulated Milk Tanker
Bedford 'S' Articulated Milk Tanker by Corgi Toys, No. 1129. Very near mint/boxed. From The QDT Vault.
Notes
A sought-after Bedford ‘S’ Tanker issued between 1962-65, finished in a crisp light blue & white with complete ‘MILK’ paper labels on both sides (one has a light crease) and bright and complete ‘Drinka Pinta Milka Day’ label at the rear. Shaped spun wheels and original fine tread radial tyres (looking as-new), window glazing.
Presents very well:
Very close to mint condition with the expected mark to the paint where the swivelling front section meets the front axles. In the ‘normal’ display position, they are not visible of course. Occasional mere dot besides.
The card pictorial box is bright and clean with all end flaps and feels sturdy. Small area of surface loss on one side. Light wear besides and a faintly pencilled period price on one side.
