Notes
In 1951, Dinky planned to put into production an Albion Milk Tanker. It never went into full production, however. Scale drawings were made as well as a wooden sample piece in July 1951, (wooden sample piece was painted dark green).
Much later, a white metal model was made (1990;s) by an ex-employee of the Dinky factory – and even later further examples were made – and this is one of these!
Minor differences to note between this version and the earlier one i.e. the MBM lettering on the cab doors is different, there is a rivet on the baseplate and the tabs that hold the chassis to the cab are green.
Occasional tiny scratch to the lettering and note a small nick to one of the letters too.
This is a well-constructed model, with a real Dinky feel.
Exceptionally scarce item, and what a talking point in a commercial Dinky collection!
