Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is finished in a most distinctive peacock blue shade, matching interior, black hood and both seated figures. One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Several little marks to the paint finish.
Colourful card box is better than many we have seen over the years. Complete with all end flaps, colourful with a crisp feel. Complete with unpunched viewport too. Very minor wear only.
Hard to resist.
