Notes
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models!
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with colourful awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and when you turn the handle the chimes play a tune (3 of the 5 notes only). Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides.
Note the windows are of the cab are fine and clear notably. Original labels have mostly been applied to the model, remainder still on sheet.
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Nice to see that this example comes with the crisp and bright colourful card stand and the wrap-around card packing piece.
The decorative card box is clean, complete and bright. Some age/handling wear and a small seam tear.
A truly nostalgic piece!
