Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A pleasing 3.4 LT Jaguar model finished in rich metallic red with original silver details, steering wheel. Early version with shiny spun wheels and treaded tyres.
Note the early baseplate with DINKY TOYS just about visible.
Virtually mint state.
Rare box presentation – this plain, end flap box has the correct ‘ATAMCO PRIVATE LTD. CALCUTTA’label and ‘JAGUAR 3.4L.T’ stamped too and red and yellow NICKY TOYS labels.
