Notes
A rare find.
Issued between 1961-67, this Mercedes 220 SE model has a distinctive deep powder blue finish, red interior, shining plated fittings, shaped spun wheels with suspension. Matt black baseplate. Notably intact bonnet emblem.
Very close to mint condition.
For comparison only, please take a look at this example pictured on the left when set alongside the standard example also currently for sale. Note, of course that the interior is rare in this bright red colour but note too that the colour of the model in this deeper shade is quite different too!
The yellow picture box is complete and bright, with a crisp feel and comes complete with the little serrated tag firmly in place.
