Notes
A delightful early Dinky model (1933-40), although this is the second issue (first issue was the Modelled Miniature model). Original finish is red and powder blue. Few marks and light crazing at a wheel arch. Stray flick of factory red paint visible on the inside surface of a wheel arch.
Complete with intact tow hook. Meccano Dinky Toys stamped on the base.
An all original example and one of the earliest Dinky models you can buy!
This early Dinky toy would never have its individual box but would have been sold from a shopkeeper’s box of 6.
