Corgi Toys 456 ERF Model 44G Dropside Lorry
ERF Model 44G Dropside Lorry by Corgi Toys, No. 456. Very near mint/boxed. In lemon and bright metallic blue, shaped spun wheels. A more difficult find in the BLUE & YELLOW BOX. From The QDT Vault.
Notes
Originally purchased from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
A very close to mint example in all original condition made between 1960-63. The truck is finished in yellow and metallic blue with shaped spun hubs and window glazing.
Finished in eye-catching colours, this is an attractive Corgi Lorry on display.
A fresh and original lustrous paint finish throughout. A bright baseplate, and spare wheel is still affixed. Tow hook. As-new original tyres.
Little probably as-made ark at a wheel arch and a stray flick of factory blue paint low down on one side.
The harder to find blue and yellow picture box is complete and bright , if a touch crumpled now. Period ‘45p’ price label at an end flap.
