Corgi Toys 1100 "Carrimore" Low Loader
"Carrimore" Low Loader by Corgi Toys, No. 1100. Red & blue issue with SHAPED SPUN WHEELS. Near mint plus/boxed with packing insert. Scarce version from The Coastline Collection.
Notes
It has been a long time since we have offered this particular version for sale. This Carrimore Low Loader model has a bright red Bedford ‘S’ cab and deep metallic blue low loader, with a working winch. Shaped spun wheels. Occasional little mark to the paint finish in vulnerable places. Corgi dog transfer at the rear has just the tiniest edge nick.
Presents well with a pleasing sheen to the original finish. Lettering (suspect the original owner) has scratched part of his name on the base of the model.
The pictorial lift-off lid box is complete and repair-free complete with the packing card piece in which the model is placed. A little age/handling wear includes a slightly faded section and grubbiness/water staining mostly to the lower half of the box.
This Corgi Major model was produced between 1958-63.
