French Dinky Toys 24N Citroen 11BL
Citroen 11BL by French Dinky Toys, No. 24N. Rare. Earliest issue with MAZAK wheels. Excellent/not individually boxed. Another First for QDT! From The Swiss-French Collection.
Notes
Sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box of 6, this is an extremely difficult Citroen model to source. Finished in silver-grey with one-piece Mazak wheels/tyres. Note that this earliest version has a spare wheel cover (later there would be a boot), small baseplate print and a tinplate front bumper. Correct with no direction indicators.
Some chipping commensurate with age – after all, this would never have been individually boxed, simply sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
Note that there are a couple of retouched areas on one side to soften the chipping at both wheel arches.
