Ford Consul Saloon by Corgi Toys, No. 200. Very near mint/boxed, with colour promotional booklet and PINK Corgi Club Memberhsip Form. Scarce cream issue from The Coastline Collection.
Notes
Issued in 1956, this Ford Consul is finished in cream. In fresh, original condition with flat spun hubs and a shiny baseplate. Simple clean lines and a shining cream finish on this first Corgi model (with windows, of course).
The model retains a fine sheen.
Minute inspection under magnification a little flick of later cream may been on the roof side edge.
This model comes with its original early blue picture box. Complete and deeply-coloured some age/handling wear. Period prices on both end flaps.
Nice to see that the colour promotional booklet and the more unusual pink Corgi Club Membership Form are still present:
