Notes
An impressive Alta Racing Car model made by Scamold Scale Models. Finished in vibrant Racing Green with suspension on brass wheels and well-shaped original tyres. Black steering wheel and trim.
True to scale as possible and a high quality,

Note the white daub of paint on one tyre – correct, since this is meant to enable one to count wheel revolutions.
Minor marking to the paint finish.
Attractively illustrated card box was intended for the other versions too e.g. ERA and Maserati. Note the period ink-written product detail on the end flap. Surface scuff and the occasional pinhole puncture.
With the original advertisement and informative leaflet framed. Remarkably a period receipt for 6 Scamold models is included, too. The buyer paid the princely sum of £1 and 3 shillings!
