James Bond Ford Mustang Mach 1 by Corgi Toys, No. 391. Very near mint/boxed. Version with 8-spoke wheels. Inspired by the film 'Diamonds are Forever'. Very nice 'over-sticker'. From The Bluehouse Collection. QDT starting bid £200. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
This James Bond Mustang model was issued for one year only (1972) to coincide with the ‘Diamonds are Forever’ film release.
A sought-after James Bond Mustang model in very close to mint condition.
The model has a striking deep vibrant red and black finish. High shine finish to the paint finish. Not even a trace of a roof rub. Unscratched amber glass (little grubbiness on the rear window). Version with 8-spoke detail wheels.
An eye-catching display piece.
Tiny marking to the paint finish.
Colourful card box is clean and bright with the all-important James Bond 007 ‘Diamonds are forever’ Ford Mustang label in place. Often theses labels are damaged – this example is one of the best we have seen. Intact original cellophane window. Very nice!
