Corgi Toys 328 Monte Carlo Hillman Imp
Monte Carlo 1966 Hillman Imp by Corgi Toys, No. 328. Very near mint/boxed. With suspension. Little promotional Card Stand & Leaflet. Nice box! From The 25 Year Collection in California.
Notes
This Monte Carlo Rally Car has a metallic blue finish with a cream interior, notably intact suspension on shaped spun wheels ( a little ‘soft’ on one wheel). Complete racing number ‘107’ on both doors, as well as the Monte Carlo labels at both front and rear. Very nice indeed!
Jewelled headlights. Opening rear window. Well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Couple of tiny marks to the paint finish if you want to find them.
The blue and yellow picture box is bright, complete and crisp. Very close to old shop stock quality.
Model specific Instruction Leaflet is included (Corgi Club Membership Form on reverse).
Delightful period touch – the little promotional card stand (given out to some shopkeeper’s) is included too. Note this is the slightly later version without the printed Corgi Dog logo.
