Notes

We are especially delighted to offer one of the most popular Corgi models ever, issued between 1965-69.
The James Bond Aston Martin has come straight from a private U.S. collection; it is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Suspension on very bright wire wheels. The car has a lustrous gold finish – an especially attractive example, which has barely been handled.

None of the usual chippng at ejector roof edges. Not even the obligatory chip in the centre of the roof which is often caused during the operation of the ejector roof! Upon the closest observation, there are a couple of small marks above one wheel arch and the faintest rub on the roof – otherwise hard to fault! Obviously unused; even the bullet screen retains its gold finish – so easily rubbed off during use.
The plinth on which the model sits is in virtually shop fresh crisp condition – with all four push out tabs still present. A little minor wear at two of the wheel slots caused by car movement. Such bright vivid colours on crisp card!

The Instruction Packet has been opened and inside there are the all important Secret Instructions which detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders.

All have been tested and work perfectly! The packet also contains the unapplied 007 badge which is still affixed to the backing sheet. So often missing!

Inside the packet, too, there is the spare villain figure, in case the first one goes astray!
The outer box is most impressive with very vivid deep colours, crisp and fresh.

Trace of price label residue at one end flap – surely this may be removed with a little careful cleaning. Tiniest tear at an end flap hinge. Very close to shop-fresh!
All in all, this is one of the nicest examples we have seen in a long while – and of course, all original and authentic throughout.
A piece of Corgi history and a nostalgic treat which is hard to resist!
